Our Monster Take-Over of Brooklyn Brewery!
Whenever there is an event at Brooklyn Brewery, we always try to attend. Recently, we visited the brewery for Edible Brooklyn’s “Butchery 101″. After a few awesome brews, we take over The FoodFreaks Grilled Cheese Truck. Watch as the madness ensues only on MenWhoDineTV.

Edible Manhattan’s 4th Annual Good Beer
Last night was Edible Manhattan’s 4th Annual Good Beer event at 82 Mercer Street in NYC. We’re big advocates of the Edible Communities. We love attending the great events they host throughout the year. Good Beer is a great one because it combines two things that we love food and beer, a match made in heaven. It was great to sample foods and beers from some of the area’s best restaurants and breweries; including Gramercy Tavern, Saint Austere, Brooklyn Cured, Brooklyn Brewery & Kelso Brewery. Here are a few pictures from the evening’s festivities.
R.I.P. Brooklyn Brewery’s Monster the Cat
We were saddened to learn of the passing of Monster The Brooklyn Brewery cat. Events at the brewery will not be the same without Monster’s presence. We always looked forward to seeing Monster whenever we visited the brewery.

Katz’s Famous Delicatessen: At the Altar of Pastrami
Katz’s Famous Delicatessen
205 East Houston Street (corner of Ludlow St)
New York City
There’s something special about walking into an old-school NYC Jewish deli, especially Katz’s on the Lower East Side. I don’t know if it’s the ticket you get when you enter the door; the bright, fluorescent lights; or the wonderful aromas of pastrami, corned beef, knishes, and pickles. It’s not the most romantic place, but I guess Harry did meet Sally there or something like that.
