“Jazz It Up with Emeril” Cooking Demo in NYC
Yesterday afternoon, Gennaro & I were fortunate enough to be invited by our good friend Amy Capetta to a special cooking demonstration and lunch with Chef Emeril Lagasse called “Jazz It Up with Emeril”. It’s not everyday that Emeril cooks lunch for you. So we jumped at the opportunity. The event, which corresponded with the release of Emeril’s brand new cookware at JCPenney, was held at Greeley Square Park in Manhattan. Walking toward the park, we saw a food truck parked with Emeril’s picture on it. Lo and behold, Emeril himself was serving gumbo from the truck.
